There is something so special about photographing a wedding. As a photographer, you have the honor of capturing all the beauty and emotion of such an important day, ensuring that it will be remembered forever. Ashley and Cory’s wedding was no exception. From the stunning bride to the room filled with love and joy, this was a day that I won’t soon forget.

Ashley and Cory met via dating app in November 2018. Both of them were jaded and disillusioned with the dating scene. Cory even thought her profile on the app was dishonest and he was expecting to meet a less attractive person. In fact, throughout the entire night on their first "date", Cory was looking for the "gotcha" that would explain this too-good-to-be-true scenario.

However there was no "gotcha". Ashley was as beautiful as she portrayed. More importantly, she is as beautiful internally as she is externally.

As the months went on, they knew they were meant for each other. “This was the relationship that we would die in”, says Cory.

Ashley was one of those brides who simply glowed when she walked into the room. Her dress fit her like a glove, complementing her beauty perfectly. The entire atmosphere was filled with happiness; everyone in attendance could feel how much Ashley and Cory loved each other, which made my job even more enjoyable. Every photograph I took felt incredibly special as it captured a moment in time that would never come again.

I also had a chance to interact with the couple during their engagement photo session which gave me insight into who they were as individuals as well as a couple. This really helped me capture some truly beautiful moments between them during their big day!

As I look back on Ashley and Cory’s wedding photos, I am reminded of just how special this day was for both of them—and for me! It was an honor to capture all the beauty, emotion, love, joy, and happiness that filled this special day in their lives.
